None of them were recognized by an authoritative government. They are classified as unofficial or family orders and the wearing of them in public were prohibited by the laws of several countries." NOTE: This book was originally issued by The American Nusmismatic Society in soft wraps. This copy has the wraps removed and has been rebound in durable blue cloth with gilt title on spine. It was withdrawn from The National Geographic Society Library and has the usual card pocket and labels. Condition: Very tightly bound with no marks of any kind to text or plates.
