Condition: Withdrawn from the National Geographic Library. There are no marks of any kind to the text or the 301 illustrations [ toren corners pages 149 & 151]. The title page is stamped “withdrawn” and bears the imprint of the National Geographic Library. The flyleaves have a pocket in the front containing book reviews and a library pocket in the back. The binding is solid and tight  The dust jacket appears to be unblemished as it has been protected by a Mylar cover. The cover is torn with no harm to the dust jacket. The protective cover has been taped on leaving tape marks to both the front and back covers and on the flyleaves. Fine condition.
